Training up students using the Word of God as a guide is our goal at Faith. Our students are taught timeless Biblical truths through a variety of mediums and events. Our desire is to make a way available to each and every student to learn from God’s Word. Here’s how:
Every Sunday morning at 9:45am we gather together as a church family and enjoy a short time of singing and prayer before we divide into age appropriate groups for Sunday School. Our students meet in specific age groups and are taught stories from the Bible with age specific application to their own lives.
On Thursday nights from August until May we meet at 6:30pm for our student ministries. Our younger students, up to the 6th grade, meet together for the Awana Club. To learn more about the Awana Club organization, please visit We are excited to offer this program! Our older students, Journey, 7th to 12th grades, meet separately and study the Bible through group interaction, discussion, multimedia and singing. They discuss ways to make them applicable to their challenging life as teenagers as they approach adulthood.
During the month of June, we have our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS). VBS is designed for all ages, although no child is turned away that is eager to come to VBS. We utilize curriculum that is themed and well planned with music, puppet shows, crafts, snacks and learning. We also enjoy having our young people assist with running VBS…truly a family event!
Our students also plan and save for a trip to summer Bible camp every year. Faith Baptist, along with other churches within our association and Northern California, utilize Pilot Lake Bible Camp as our destination. A week packed full of fun, food, adventure, friendships and learning; it is always an event that is highly anticipated by our students.
